SECRET SOCIETY OF STARFISH is a progressive rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They have been described as Tool meets Porcupine Tree and their intricate music ranges from hard-driving to complex to ethereal instrumentals. Signed to Canadian indie label Unicorn Records, SSOS has performed with prog icons Yes, hard rockers King's X and many prog, metal and rock acts around the Midwest.

SECRET SOCIETY OF STARFISH is composed of veteran musicians from Milwaukee area prog-rock groups. The band features vocals by Pablo Sepulveda Jr., D.R. Burkowitz on bass, Chris Vincent on drums, guitarist Joe Kopecky and Jeffrey Konkol on keyboards.

Joe Kopecky combines serpentine guitar work with technique to create a versatile tapestry of sound. Joe has released seven albums and is in several music acts including the acclaimed Prog-rock group Kopecky.

Bassist D.R. Burkowitz brings complex rhythms and crisp, time changes to the band. He performs on traditional bass as well as 6 and 7 string basses. Burkowitz is also a member of the prog-metal Dimension X, which released 3 CD's on Unicorn Digital.

Drummer Chris Vincent studied music at UW Madison. He teaches music in Milwaukee and Madison, WI. 

Jeffrey Konkol was trained as a cellist, bassist and won international competitions as a percussionist before embracing piano. He studied classical music at UW Milwaukee. He has played with many local bands in a variety of styles. Jeff is also a member of Dimension X.

Pablo Sepulveda Jr. combines resonant and energized vocals with a magnetic and engaging stage presence. Years of studio and stage experience make this possible.
