TALES FROM THE FOUR SEASONS

THIS ALBUM IS DEDICATED TO THE CYCLE OF LIFE REFLECTED IN THE EVER CHANGING SEASONS

AN INSTRUMENTAL PIECE IN FOUR PARTS, ONE FOR EACH SEASON, THE MUSIC IS SPLIT INTO SHORT MOVEMENTS LINKED TOGETHER TO MAKE A SEASONAL STORY. FILLING THE SPACES BETWEEN THE DRAMAS CREATED BY THE BEAUTIFUL FORCE OF NATURE THE MUSIC IS REFLECTIVE AND RELAXING INTENDED TO LEAVE THE LISTENER WITH A WARM FEELING OF WELL BEING.

INSTRUMENTATION IS LED BY AUCOUSTIC GUITAR AND AUGMENTED BY PIANO, FLUTE AND CLARINET. A SMALL STRING SECTION WEAVES IN AND OUT OF THE MELODIES CREATED BY THE LEAD INSTRUMENTS.

WRITTEN OVER THREE YEARS THIS IS THE DEBUT RECORDING OF THE ARTIST KNOWN AS FLOOD BELOW ARE JUST A FEW QUOTES FROM THE MANY FINE REVIEWS THE ALBUM HAS GARNERED SINCE ITS RELEASE IN 2009

“Listening to 'Flood' reminded me of how music can transport you and relax you all at the same time, as if nothing really matters, as the music covered the room , my Janee said, I love this , who is it???, let it play all day, it was just the way I felt, a big thank you 'Flood' for sending me this beautiful gift of music....Jon”

JON ANDERSON (YES & SOLO ARTIST)

“Under the name Flood the British guitar and keyboard player Trevor Kenward presents his personal “Tales from the four seasons” as his debut album, and first major composition – my honest respect! He played and recorded all instruments by himself and it took him three years to complete the production. This one of the most interesting and refreshing releases I have listened to in a while, the music is timeless and hard to be associated with any of the common categories. You may call it something like “new classical” or “classical music of the third Millennium”, whatsoever, it is absolutely worth listening.”

GANDALF (RECORDING ARTIST)

“This 2009 album from the U.K. based Flood, entitled Tales From The Four Seasons is one of the most sublime instrumental albums of this first decade of the 21st century. Tales From The Four Seasons is a sublime album to reflect back upon one of the most intense, hard fought, yet ultimately disappointing decades in modern history. Filled with pastoral washes of instrumental wonder, Tales From The Four Seasons is a harmonious, sonic way to release your brain from the tension and sadness of this silent decade.”
